Publish your audiobook to Spotify

Last updated: June 5, 2025

  1. Once you've finished creating your project on Wondercraft, ensure all audio is fully generated, and export and download the audio file using the Export button in the top right corner of the editing page.

    1. If you are creating an audiobook with multiple chapters created in different Wondercraft files, make sure to export and save each file with the relevant chapter name, e.g. chapter1.mp3

  2. Convert your audio file(s) to an LPF (Lightweight Packaging Format).

    1. You can do this via a free tool such as Bookery's W3C Audiobook Packer*.

      1. Follow the link above to Bookery.

      2. Upload your audio file(s). Optionally, include a manifest.json file if you have one.

      3. The tool will process your files and generate a .lpf package that adheres to the W3C Audiobook specification.

  3. Follow the instructions on Findaway Voices by Spotify to create an account and upload your LPF audio file for distribution.
